  1. Yay for sprouts! I have a container/pallet garden combo on our little townhouse patio and most everything is coming up nicely! My roma tomato plants are starting to flower and my green beans have produced one bean so far! Cabbage worms have been eating my broccoli and kale, though so they might not make it. My herbs are all doing great! Can’t wait to see your updates!

  2. I have a small container garden in my basement apartment’s backyard and man it is so exciting seeing it all come up!
My kale and spinach are doing great – last year aphids devoured them but I got a lady bug lure so they can eat them. Even though I haven’t seen any lady bugs it looks like there are less aphids! I also have 2 heirloom tomatoes and a zucchini plant that are doing good but they aren’t big enough for flowers and fruit yet. As for herbs – I have catnip and basil still inside on my windowsill before they’re big enough to go outside. But I’m having terrible luck with lavender – my seeds aren’t sprouting. Hmm.
    We’ll see!
    Good luck all!

    1. It sounds like you’re off to a great start. It’s very encouraging for people who don’t have a lot of space to know how much they can grow. Thanks for sharing Kylie! And good luck with that lavender!!
