  1. I first learned about the gelatin support necessary for our bodies when I read Jordin Rubin’s and Dr. Brasco’s book “Restoring Your Digestive Health”. I had horrible, awful, sudden onset IBS. You know – eliminate every other possible disease or illness and diagnose with the catch all one. I immediately went on his Brasco Broth cleanse/cure and it is truly a miracle worker!!! I revert to it several times a year after I poison myself with all the yummy, addictive, totally unhealthy foods.

I also implement this with my pets. I give my dogs raw bones all the time, and try to by dehydrated raw foods that have bone and cartilage in them for both my dogs and cats.

And speaking of cats, your article on iodine totally got me on the right track for my hyperthyroid cat. I found a wonderful holistic vet in Australia (no I don’t live anywhere near there, lol!) who sells their remedies over the internet. They also do email consults that are very in depth. Their hyperthyroid remedy indeed includes iodine in it. After my cat had his next blood work test, the vet said I could eliminate one of his doses per day! Now I just have to find a way to keep him from being calm and sleepy all day and yowling, crying and pacing all night!

Thank you so much for your wonderful blog!

PS – I work in a state park and live on 5 acres. So, although I had never heard of earthing, I already live it!! And like most of us tuned into ourselves, realized that country living was something I need and crave!

  2. And 1 more PS!!! I am using the “Sleep” essential oil and the other one that you recommended. I love them! They do work awesome. Except, as I mentioned above, my cat keeps me awake half the night.
