  1. I LOVE this. I have heard of relactation, but never read of anyone doing it. Great work, Mama. My son who is 4 1/2 nursed until just after his 4th birthday. He was very colicky and very picky. I am so glad I followed his cues and let him keep nursing for as long as he wanted. I really think it saved his gut in a lot of ways. I loved nursing him through the winter months. It gave me such a sense of peace to know that he was getting immune building nutrients and antibodies plus hydration during bouts of sickness. He still talks about it. I know how special it was to him and I am so glad I was able to give that nurturing.
