I began it to share advice on how to manage a child with multiple non-anaphylactic food allergies and chemical sensitivities. The older my daughter got, the more foods we added to her off limits list (hence the ‘and counting…‘). It was frustrating to say the least.
As time went on, I continued to research, research, and research some more and learned more than I ever could have imagined. We abandoned our organic gluten-free casein-free SAD (Standard American Diet) lifestyle and changed over to the GAPS diet which focused on healing broths, establishing a proper balance of gut flora, and eating grain- and starch-free.
With many healing protocols added to the original GAPS program, we have layers of healing behind us and have reversed most of Katie’s allergies. We have since changed focus and are now Healing Redefined and counting…down.
