  1. Hi, Can you share more about why salicylates are problematic? I already eat grain-free (GAPS though I’m not regularly consuming broth!), and am wondering if there is more I should consider changing in my diet. I am breastfeeding, so I can’t get TOO restrictive – since I’m already moderately restricted, but I’m curious about the salicylates and other such categories that I see mentioned periodically on blogs.

    1. I would hit up The Almighty Google, ye Old Keeper of Knowledge, about salicylates, oxalates, and FODMAPs to start. Most people don’t have to restrict them unnecessarily but there are always the few. 🙂 It’s often about normalizing digestion and working on liver & gall bladder congestion. I hope that helps!

  2. Wow I have had all those issues along with the major ear infections since I was little! I have been on many restrictive diets but couldn’t continue them as I didn’t enough of a change. Maybe I should look into the salicylate thing. Thanks for sharing!
