  1. Is this for baby’s with allergies? My infant has allergies to eggs, dairy, wheat, and intolerances to soy, corn, chocolate, coffee and more. She has suffered with severe eczema since she was 6 weeks old. She is now 8 months and is about 90% healed as she is EBF (until a few weeks ago I started her on GAPS as well as breast milk) but I can’t get rid of the ITCH!

    1. Jennifer, I’m so glad you are able to breastfeed and have found GAPS! You are on the right path. 🙂 My daughter still has dry skin, so I believe it is caused by a compromised liver. It is healing but still has a ways to go. Daily detox baths in filtered water followed by raw shea butter has been our greatest remedy after a proper diet. The increase in fats from GAPS will help, and I am working on making a new body balm with beef tallow. It is AMAZING stuff. Once I get the formula right and am sure that it works how I want it to, I will post the recipe. I’m going to shamelessly plug my blog and say that I will be talking about skin care coming up and will share the recipe, a post on detox baths and their benefits, and some other stuff. Make sure you subscribe for the updates!

This book is definitely for those with allergies. The recipes will require some adaptions, but I am able to use most of them and am making Mommypotamus’ liver chili this week (my first attempt at adding offal to a regular meal). I’m excited and freaking out all at the same time.

You can click on the links to get to the promotional page, and there is an 18-page preview that will be very helpful in deciding if the book is for you. I found that A LOT of the information she includes took me years and more hours than I can count to compile it.
